I wanted to let you know that I have now finished TCAFS and wished it wasn't coming to an end.

All the characters have added their unique qualities. For me though the landladies and Mona Buckle steal the show, even though they never appeared in any show! That word play and "Monarisms"! She hopes to be reimbursed but will the spirits stop her from being reconstituted??!!!

Reading To Catch a Falling Star was like visiting an old friend and having a proper catch up. Returning to the original cast members from Twice Nightly was comforting and at times (without giving anything away!)bittersweet. The stories developed naturally from one book to the next and mingled well with some new characters that brought their own dynamic.

There are some really beautiful moments in To Catch a Falling Star that are written so true to the characters involved that it makes them all the more poignant.

I have now read both Twice Nightly and To Catch a Falling Star and enjoyed reading them both immensely.

The characters seemed like real people and I found it difficult to put the books down.
